Monochromatic Landscape

This monochromatic landscape began with a photo of mountains and a cloudy sky sourced from Unsplash. Although I didn’t take the original photo, I was drawn to its natural mood and depth. I chose purple as the main hue because it’s my favorite color and brings a dreamy, surreal feeling to the piece. Using Photoshop, I painted over the image with the brush tool and added textures from Brusheezy to create a more expressive and layered effect. Throughout the process, I learned how to “paint” digitally, blending color and texture in new ways. I hope viewers are especially drawn to the moon, a subtle detail that adds quiet focus and mystery to the scene.
