In this series, I explore the elemental power of line as a reflection of the human experience. Using the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator, I created ten distinct lines—waves, bows, hearts, spiders, stars, crazy, daze, loops, heart rate, and infinity—each designed to evoke different emotions and aspects of my life. The tidy lines, like hearts and bows, represent calm, peace, and affection, while the chaotic ones, like "crazy" and "daze," capture moments of confusion and turbulence. The "heartbeat" line reflects my career aspirations in nursing, symbolizing the pulse of life, while the "spider" line embodies my fears and anxieties. Each line is a personal symbol, offering a glimpse into my inner world, my relationships, and my growth. Through this work, I invite viewers to consider how lines—though simple in form—can communicate complex emotions and narratives that shape our identities.
