For the album cover of SZA's SOS, I aimed to capture a peaceful yet poignant moment of self-liberation. The image depicts SZA walking toward a serene, peaceful horizon, symbolizing her escape from a toxic relationship, while a cracked floor beneath her feet represents the emotional toll of her past. Using pastel colors and various brushes, I created a calm and reflective atmosphere, with the sunset being the focal point of the piece, embodying hope and healing. While I’m proud of the soft, soothing tones, I would refine the floor’s details and reflection to add more depth, enhancing the emotional layers of the cover.
